She has served the library profession in a Management capacity for over three and a half decades. She served as the Polytechnic Librarian of YABA College of Technology for two tenures. She has served in official positions within the Nigerian Library Association, as Chairperson of the Association of Women Librarians of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter and the treasurer of the Committee of Monothenic and Polytechnic Librarians in Nigeria.

She is very much interested in seeing the establishment of libraries that are ICT compliant. Her research interests include Information and Communication Technology, Users Study and Library Management. She has authored books, many professional publications and has papers presented at National and International Conferences.
