UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMME

B. ARCHITECTURE

Programme Description Duration: 5 years

Architecture is among the few disciplines that can be classified as both an art and a science.

It is referred to as the design and engineering of large structures and buildings. This discipline can be found everywhere, from the building you are currently into hospitals, offices and supermarkets.  Architecture helps to ensure that every building fits into the context in which it was designed in the most optimal manner.

A degree in Architecture will train you on how to plan buildings to align with existing structures and provide effective services. You’ll gain insight into the environmental impact of designs and how they should be effectively implemented.

Graduates of Architecture can pursue a wide range of career options. Architecture careers include Building architecture (the design of new buildings or the modification of old structures), Landscape architecture (the planning, design, and management of open spaces in both natural and urban areas), and Naval architecture (the designing of ships and marine vessels).
