Programme Overview
Understand Our Planet and the People Who Live on It
Geography is the study of our planet, including its environments,
landscapes and natural hazards, as well as the connections between
individuals and their surroundings.
The programme develops mathematical, analytical and geographical
skills for studying the physical characteristics of the Earth and
understanding how natural and human systems interact.
Geography allows you to examine real-world issues such as climate,
water, landforms, environmental change, communities and the ways
places develop over time.
Geography is about more than knowing where places are.
It is about understanding why places change, how people interact
with their environment and how better decisions can shape the
future.
