Accounting is the process of documenting a business’s financial transactions. It is also the act of consolidating financial data with the aim of making it clear and understandable to all shareholders and stakeholders. The primary goal is to keep records and provide information on a business’s financial operations, financial performance, and cash flows.

Potential career paths in accounting include Staff Accountant, Internal Auditor, Budget Analyst, and Financial Analyst amidst several more.

UME subjects to include Economics, Mathematics and one other Arts or Social Science subject.

Two A level passes to include economics and one other relevant subject. OND or HND with credit passes in relevant subjects.

Five ‘O’ level credit passes to include English language, Mathematics, Economics and two other Arts or Social Science subjects.
