	Friday 20th	Commencement of Christmas Break
January	5th – 7th	Return of students from Christmas break
	Wednesday 8th	Resumption of lectures
	26th – 31st	Students Week
February	Monday 18th	Commencement of examinations
	Friday 28th	End of First semester


March	Thursday 13th	Commencement of second semester
	14th - 16th	Return of all students
	Monday 17th	Commencement of lectures and Registrations
	Sunday 23rd	University second semester Thanksgiving service
	24th – 27th	Matriculation of New Students & other activities.

	Monday 31st	Commencement of late registration with penalty.

June	22nd – 28th	Week of spiritual emphasis
July	Monday 14th	Commencement of second semester Examination
	Monday 28th	End of second semester Examination
	29th - 30th	End of second semester and academic session.

The university shall fix other semester activities within the semester calendar but this calendar should stand fixed.
All university officers should work with this calendar in planning their programmes for the semester/session.
All course allocations must be ready by 10th September for the first semester and 20th February for the second semester. On no account should course allocations be pending a week to semester resumption.
DAP must publish all required courses for each department not later than two weeks before the resumption of a semester.
